(올드팝) 빌리 조엘(Billy Joel) - 피아노 맨(Piano Man)

오늘은 또 건방지게... 올드팝 한곡 소개하려 합니다.
예전, 빌리조엘의 Just the way you are 라는 곡을 소개해드렸었는데요~ 그의 노래중 더 유명한 곡입니다.
피아노 맨(Piano Man)이라는 세계적으로 유명한 곡이며 제가 너무도 좋아하는 곡이라 들려드릴까 합니다.

이 곡은  Billy Joel 이 자신이 직접 겪었던 이야기를 가사로 삼은 노래 입니다~

어떻게 시작하는지는 잘 기억이 나질 않지만 슬프면서도 달콤한(낭만적인) 곡이지.

젊었을 땐 그 노래를 알았었는데......

And probably will be for life 
아마 일생을 해군으로 살 것 같아요 

And the waitress is practicing politics 
웨이트레스가 손님들을 능숙히 다루고 
As the businessmen slowly get stoned 
비지니스맨들은  천천히 취해가죠
Yes, they're sharing a drink they call loneliness 
그들은 외로움이라 불리는 술잔을 나눠요
But it's better than drinkin' alone 
하지만, 홀로 마시는 것 보단 낫죠

가사 해석은 어설플 수도 있고~ 빌리조엘이 원한대로 표현하지 못했을 수도 있습니다^^;;;;

어느덧 꽃샘 추위가 슬슬 물러가고 있습니다. 감기는 안걸리셨는지... 건강은 괜찮으신지 모르겠습니다.

지역별로 주말에 비 소식이 있기도 한데, 3~4일 뒤의 날씨는 역시.. 되어봐야 아는거겠죠? ^^
